ACEA Run Rome The Marathon

The 2024 and 2025 editions of the ACEA Run Rome The Marathon represented an important opportunity for Echo Labs to promote the value of eco-carpentry, creative reuse, and circular economy practices applied to the logistics sector.

At our stand in Circo Massimo, we welcomed hundreds of visitors with interactive activities, hands-on workshops, and discussions focused on sustainability topics.

A journey through reclaimed materials and new visions

In 2024, together with Luigi Cuppon e and his team, we gave new life to discarded pallets through eco-carpentry workshops, demonstrating how reuse can become a tool for design and everyday utility.
With Yogis4Nature, we transformed decommissioned FERCAM uniforms into unique bags and shoppers, blending style with positive impact.
Thanks to our collaboration with Linaria, visitors created seed bombs and herbariums using recycled cardboard, exploring the connection between biodiversity, social inclusion, and urban regeneration.
The event also offered a valuable opportunity for students from Accademia Italiana – Art, Fashion & Design, who worked on prototypes developed in collaboration with us. These will be showcased at Milan’s Fuorisalone 2024, celebrating creativity and innovation.

2025 edition: even more space for participation

In 2025, we renewed our commitment by launching—together with Laboratorio Linfa—a new edition of the #Niente di Nuovo workshops: creative sessions focused on mindful reuse and free expression, designed to engage both children and adults.

The workshops included:
- Eco Avatar: A creative workshop where children brought imaginary creatures to life—dragons, robots, princesses, or monsters—using reclaimed materials under the guidance of a skilled carpenter. An experience that blends imagination, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
- Caratteri Cubitali: A wood engraving workshop where letters, words, and symbols become tools for storytelling, turning salvaged materials into new messages. A hands-on opportunity to experiment, create, and give a new voice to discarded objects.

Each initiative carried forward our mission: to inspire more conscious behaviors, unlock the hidden potential of recovered materials, and help build a future where design, sustainability, and social impact are meaningfully intertwined.
