Memoria Rossoblù: history on display

A modular display wall

For Memoria Rossoblù, an initiative dedicated to preserving the history of Aquila Montevarchi, Echo Labs designed and built a six-metre modular display wall, recovering 135 kg of wood to showcase 21 historic shirts and tell the story of the team's sporting identity.

The project grew out of the need to create a space able to safeguard and bring to light a heritage rooted in sport, the local community and collective memory.

Spanning six metres in total, the structure was designed as a modular system to give maximum visibility to the 21 shirts on display.

Each element finds its place within a unified composition, guiding visitors through the club's history and keeping the display orderly, recognisable and adaptable.

When memory meets the circular economy

The project brings together two forms of memory: the one held in the shirts and the one carried by the recovered materials.

On one side, a collection that tells the story of people, matches and a sense of belonging. On the other, wood that takes on a new role and finds a second life through the work of Echo Labs.

The initiative combines social woodworking, circular design and the enhancement of local heritage, turning reuse into a practical tool for telling stories and expressing identity.
