Echo Labs and FERCAM were selected as Sustainability Partners of the XIV Florence Biennale. The partnership with the Florence Biennale included logistics management and the donation of crates and wooden furniture crafted in Echo Labs’ carpentry workshop.
The XIV Florence Biennale offered Echo Labs a valuable opportunity to showcase its resource reuse philosophy by furnishing several exhibition areas with pieces made from wood recovered from end-of-life logistics materials. Seating areas in the lounge zones and a bookshop—entirely built from crates used for transporting artworks—provided visitors with a moment of rest and a chance to reflect on the endless potential of available resources.
The passageway between two exhibition areas gained added meaning through the installation of the Echo Portal, symbolizing our strong commitment to protecting the planet's fragility and our determination to build a better future through awareness and tangible action.
This collaboration with the Florence Biennale highlighted Echo Labs’ ongoing commitment to a more sustainable and inclusive future. Our social enterprise continues to support circular economy processes, social integration, and biodiversity, helping to build networks of people and organizations with shared values and goals, aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda.
