FERCAM and Echo Labs were selected as Sustainability Partners for the fourteenth edition of the Festival della Letteratura di Viaggio.
The Festival presented itself under the theme “Changing environment”, with a dual meaning: on one hand, an invitation to physical, contextual, and exploratory change through travel; on the other, a call to raise awareness about the climate crisis as a key to building a sustainable and essential future—one that requires concrete actions to protect our planet.
Echo Labs fully embraced the Festival’s philosophy and chose to support it in a tangible way by furnishing several areas of the beautiful Villa Celimontana park and the historic Palazzetto Mattei with our eco-design furniture, making these spaces even more evocative during the event.
Visitors enjoyed lounge areas equipped with seating made from reclaimed wood, ideal for relaxing breaks, and a striking installation built from FERCAM’s art transport crates, an artistic homage to the theme of travel. Each space conveyed a unifying message: the importance of upcycling and eco-design as tools for environmental preservation and resource efficiency.
At the entrance, the Echo Portal offered a powerful visual and symbolic experience. Passing through it represented a personal commitment to protecting the planet’s fragile beauty and a collective desire to build a better future through awareness and action. It served as a reminder that each of us has the power to choose the kind of impact we leave behind.
