The conference “Cerchi Concentrici – Shared values and actions to generate positive impact”, organized for the launch of our Social Report, offered the opportunity to retrace the story of Echo Labs through the voices of our partners—institutions, associations, and clients.
To give guests a first-hand experience of our woodworking lab, we used the occasion to host a Christmas-themed workshop: building small wooden trees to gift to Echo Labs’ friends and partners. One tree, in particular, filled us with pride—it was dedicated to the young guests of “Terza Stella” by Peter Pan, a shelter designed to host oncology patients and their families from around the world during treatment.
As per our best tradition, the initiative included a special collaboration—this time with a group of students from Giorgio Perlasca Elementary School, located on the southern outskirts of the city. The children were entrusted with the meaningful task of painting the decorations.
The project aimed to start a reflection with the students on the themes of reuse, solidarity, and hospitality. The first session introduced the initiative and helped them understand the deeper meaning behind their work. In the second phase, their teachers guided them in decorating the wooden ornaments made in our workshop. During the delivery, we were deeply moved to read the heartfelt messages of encouragement and holiday wishes they wrote for the children at Peter Pan.
This initiative blended creativity, social commitment, and solidarity—bringing joy and warmth to children and families during a meaningful time of the year.
