Collaboration between associations and companies creates meaningful value for citizens and local communities!
Together with Ridaje and in partnership with Sepoffà – upcycling lab and OZ – Officine Zero, we created a bookcrossing library that will offer families and students in Rome’s 8th Municipality another reason to visit Parco del Tintoretto.
For the construction, artisans from Echo Labs’ permanent workshop used various materials recovered from FERCAM’s logistics operations: crates previously used for transporting artworks, wood from freight packaging, PVC from truck tarpaulins, and transparent panels originally installed in offices during the pandemic.
This bookcrossing library is a space where collaboration, sustainability, and culture come together, making room for the exchange of stories, ideas, and literary passions. Its inauguration in the newly renovated Parco del Tintoretto made it possible to share the magic of books with the public, while celebrating the centenary of Italo Calvino in an ecological and creative way.
